Recent research by Lin et al. demonstrated that bazedoxifene inhibits the interaction between IL6 and GP130 through competitive binding with the D1 region of GP130, leading to the inactivation of the IL6/STAT3/AKT/ERK signaling pathway, and thus plays an antitumor role in pancreatic cancer [17, 18]. Here, IL6 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
