Taken together, we can conclude that platelets promoted the increasing aggregation of Tregs and Th2 cells as well as M2 macrophages along with a constant low-level aggregation of Th1 cells during the progression of endometriosis, which facilitated the expression of TSLP and GARP and likely induced TGF-β1 activation, resulting in lesional progression and fibrogenesis. The gene discussed is TGFB1; the disease is endometriosis.
