As expected, GSC marker CD133-positive cells increased in GSC compared to glioma cells grown in monolayer: CD133-positive cells increased from 1.38 to 4.52% in A172 (Figure 8B), from 1.03 to 3.76% in U87MG (Figure 8C), from 0.75 to 2.81% in U373MG (Figure 8D), and from 0.63 to 1.69% in SNB19 (Figure 8E). Here, PROM1 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
