Previous studies have demonstrated an abundant expression of anti-apoptotic proteins, commonly BCL-2, BCL-XL, and BCL-W in multiple myeloma cell lines (Gazitt et al., 1998) and non-SCLC tissues (Liu et al., 2017) which are associated with tumor advancement, sustenance (Liu et al., 2017) and chemoresistance (Gazitt et al., 1998; Shangary et al., 2004; Paulus et al., 2014). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and small cell lung carcinoma.
