In the current study, 15 pseudogenes were identified as promising prognostic indicators for breast cancer by univariate Cox regression analysis and classified into tumor-suppressor pseudogenes (NCF1C, HLA-DRB6, HLA-DPB2, HLA-J, HLA-H, HLA-L, RPL13AP20) and oncogene pseudogenes (PGM5P2, HERC2P4, HSP90AB2P, DHX40P1, RRN3P3, RRN3P2, SDHAP1, RPL23AP53) based on their different effects in clinical outcomes using TCGA dataset. Here, HSP90AB2P is linked to neoplasm.
