FXR-SHP inhibits SREBP-1c [28, 29, 35], and the activation of FXR-SHP/CYP7A1 facilitated the efflux of lipids by downregulating the SREBP-1c/FAS/ACC pathway and suppressing its downstream target genes, which are involved in fatty acid synthesis, thereby alleviating the progression of dyslipidemia [28–30, 32]. This evidence concerns the gene NR0B2 and metabolic syndrome.
