Following high remission rates in clinical trials, two CD19 CAR-T cell products were approved by the FDA in late 2017 for the treatment of refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and for patients with relapsed or refractory B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) up to the age of 25 [1]. This evidence concerns the gene CD19 and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
