The ROC curve based on serum AnxA2 values of breast cancer (n = 162) and normal healthy females (n = 65) showed that serum AnxA2 expression can be a significant parameter to discriminate between normal females and breast cancer patients with an area under the ROC curve (AUC) of 0.734 ± 0.035 (95% CI = 0.666–0.802; p < 0.0001) (Figure 2E). This evidence concerns the gene ANXA2 and breast cancer.
