KMT2A and myeloid neoplasm: Conversely, homologues to drosophila’s trithorax-family like the histone methyltransferase MLL1 (KMT2A) and certain SWI/SNF complex members appear to act as oncogenes/dependencies in myeloid malignancies, suggesting fundamentally different consequences of the trithorax–polycomb balance in myeloid neoplasms compared to rhabdoid- and other tumors [131,132,133].
