In conclusion, based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that: 1) myricetin efficiently induces apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells; 2) myricetin meddles with both extrinsic and intrinsic apoptotic pathways; and 3) myricetin may exert its apoptotic effects on MCF-7 cells via inducing the BRCA1-GADD45 pathway. Here, GADD45A is linked to breast cancer.
