In Smad3 KO‐db/db, these genes were significantly enriched in the pathways of “Transcriptional misregulation in cancer”, “Cell adhesion molecules” and “Type II diabetes mellitus” when compared to Smad3 KO‐db/m (Figure 3F), whereas “Transcriptional misregulation in cancer”, “Rap1 signaling pathway”, “Endocytosis”, “MAPK signaling pathway” and “AMPK signaling pathway” were the most significant pathways compared to Smad3 WT‐db/db (Figure 3G).
