NF‐κB is a transcription factor that is activated by endotoxins, bacteria, cytokines, tumour antigens etc,20, 50 which then translocates to the nucleus and promotes expression of pro‐inflammatory genes like iNOS, COX‐2, IL‐6, IL ‐1β etc Rea inhibited NF‐κB activity by simultaneously inhibiting p65 transcription and phosphorylation even at the low concentration of 20μM. Here, NFKB1 is linked to neoplasm.
