In recent years, significant overexpression of FAM83D has been found in a variety of cancers, including lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, invasive ovarian cancer, and colorectal cancer (Liao et al., 2015; Mu et al., 2017; Wang F. et al., 2019; Zhang et al., 2019; Yin et al., 2020).
