In our previous study, we have shown that an 8-Gene Panel, which consists of PMP22, GOLM1, LMTK2, EZH2, GSTP1, PCA3, HPN, and FN1, can be used as a predictive model to distinguish Gleason score >6 PCa from Gleason score ≤6 PCa with high sensitivity and specificity in cancer tissues from two PCa patient cohorts (n = 87 and n = 158) (Xiao et al., 2016). The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
