Three of them (GLI1, SMAD4, and KLF6) are involved in MSC adipogenesis by controlling cell commitment and differentiation [43–45]; NR1I2 and NR1I3 regulate the expression of genes involved in detox activities [46, 47]; and hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator 2 (ARNT2) seems to play a role in regulating obesity [48].
