Hyperactivated Wnt signalling caused by a truncation of adenomatous polyposis coli (Apc) is a hallmark of colorectal cancer initiation and thus we sought to determine if IMiD-induced FAM83F degradation could dampen down Wnt signalling in DLD-1 cells, which harbour a truncated Apc mutant protein (Yang et al, 2006).
