Adjusting for age, education, birthplace, systolic blood pressure, physical activity, insulin resistance, C-reactive protein, high-density lipid cholesterol, and triglycerides, the estimated adjusted OR (95% CI) for probable sarcopenia for patients with BMI ≥25.0, compared with patients with BMI <25.0, was 2.88 (1.54–5.36) and for sarcopenia was 5.04 (2.51–10.15). Here, CRP is linked to sarcopenia.
