IL-12 and IFN-γ presence is important for anti-tumoral effect of rAF-IL12 as previous studies demonstrated that IL-12 treatment inhibited lung tumor growth, resulting in the long-term survival of lung cancer-bearing mice while IFN-γ mediated the anti-tumor effects of radiation therapy in murine colon tumor (Gerber et al., 2013; Yue et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and neoplasm.
