TNFRSF10A and cancer: According to a previous review conducted by Kim et al. [150], PTX-2 showed significant cytotoxicity in human cancer cells via downregulation of antiapoptotic Bcl-2, IAP-related proteins, upregulation of Bax protein and ligand (TRAIL)-receptor 1/receptor 2 (DR4/DR5), mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis through suppression of the nuclear factor κB pathway.
