Despite the importance of neutralizing antibodies in mitigating the progression of hantaviral disease (Bharadwaj et al., 2000; Dantas et al., 1986; Pettersson et al., 2014) and conveying long-lasting protection against infection (Settergren et al., 1991; Valdivieso et al., 2006; Ye et al., 2004), little is known about how they target virion-displayed glycoproteins, Gn and Gc.
