We further analyzed the proteomic data of in vivo reovirus infections and, interestingly, found that classical reovirus and NDRV infections significantly upregulated the expression of RIG-I, MDA5, IRF3, and several ISGs, such as Mx, viperin, IFIT5, and IFITM2 in both the liver and spleen. This evidence concerns the gene IFIT5 and Reoviridae infectious disease.
