YTHDF1 served as a prognostic factor in ovarian cancer (Liu et al., 2020), hepatocellular carcinoma (Zhao et al., 2018), lung cancer (Shi Y. et al., 2019), etc. In terms of the function, YTHDF1 regulated tumorigenicity and cancer stem-cell-like activity in colorectal carcinoma (Bai et al., 2019), promoted hypoxia adaption in lung cancer (Shi Y. et al., 2019), promoted ovarian cancer progression, and facilitates oral squamous cell carcinoma tumorigenesis (Zhao et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene YTHDF1 and lung cancer.
