Due to its chromosomal location and trafficking function, GOSR2 may be involved in familial essential hypertension (Boissé Lomax et al., 2013), and also was reported to be relevant to systolic blood pressure (Ehret et al., 2011) and CAD (van der Harst and Verweij, 2018).
