Overall, our data suggest that [C16Pyr][Amp] impairs the hallmark of cancer related to the reprogramming of cellular energy and metabolism [76], decreasing both CPT2 (in PCa cell lines) and LDHA (in BrCa cell lines) expression, which affects the energy supply by FAO and the lactate production during glycolysis, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene CPT2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
