Combined with the previous studies [4], YFSJF was found to reduce the expression of CoL-I and CoL-III, reduce the deposition of extracellular matrix, inhibit the phosphorylation of PI3K, Akt, and mTOR, alleviate the pulmonary fibrosis caused by inflammation, activate autophagy, and promote the metabolism and absorption of extracellular matrix such as collagen fiber. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and pulmonary fibrosis.
