The results of investigation of the anticancer properties of the Allium ursinum extracts are in accordance with data of Xu et al. (2013) who demonstrated that watery extracts of A. ursinum caused apoptosis through activation of caspase-3, caspase-8 and caspase-9, and G2/M arrest in human gastric adenocarcinoma AGS cells. Here, CASP9 is linked to gastric adenocarcinoma.
