Studies on peripheral blood and bone marrow specimens from paediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) demonstrated that following Berlin‐Frankfurt‐Munster (BFM) chemotherapy, an elevation in miR‐125b and down‐regulation of Bcl‐2 correlate with short leukaemia‐free survival.141, 142.
