Of the drugs not incorporated to the pharmaceutical care policy, insulin glargine, tiotropium bromide, fast-acting insulin analogues (lispro and aspart) and osteoporosis treatment drugs (teriparatide and denosumab) led the requests; there was no alternative in SUS for only 2 of the 10 most requested medicines (bevacizumab for use as an antineoplastic agent and for intravitreal use).
