The number and area of the newly formed blood vessels was significantly increased in the HPC-ASCCM group (1453.4 ± 214.4, 9.4 ± 1.4%, P < 0.05; respectively) and the HPC-ASCCM group with removal of VEGF-A (1288.8 ± 365.8, 7.3 ± 1.7%, P < 0.05; respectively) or SDF-1a (1111.8 ± 334.4, 7.1 ± 1.1%, respectively; P < 0.05) alone compared with those in the NPC-ASCCM group (603 ± 83.9, 3.3 ± 1.2%, respectively; P < 0.05) and the HPC- ASCCM group with removal of VEGF-A and SDF-1a (518.4 ± 170.9, 2.6 ± 1.2%, respectively; P < 0.05). Here, CXCL12 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
