CDKN2A and cancer: A previous study found that women with high CCDC69 expression had longer survival times than those with low CCDC69 expression, and during cisplatin exposure, CCDC69 promoted the accumulation of p53 by activating p14ARF while inactivating MDM2 signaling to maintain p53 and p14ARF expression, suggesting that CCDC69 might be a potential therapeutic target in cancer (Cui et al., 2019).
