During the follow-up period, the percentages of patients with IGF-I within the normal range continously increased in both groups, changing from 52.2 to 59.5% in the Hypertension group and from 54.6 to 69.3% in the Normotension group, but were significantly higher in the Normotension group when compared to the Hypertension group 1–5 years after starting PEGV (p<0.001 (Figure 2).
