LRP4 and myasthenia gravis: The overall prevalence of LRP4 antibodies in MG patients appears to be around 2% [i.e., ~19% of SNMG patients (47)], although there was considerable variation among initial studies with reported rates of 2–45%, possibly due to differences in the detection method used, the source of the antigen (animal or human) and the populations studied (44–46).
