ABCB1 and rheumatoid arthritis: Conversely, the study by He et al., including 12 articles involving more RA patients with respect to the study by Lee et al. (a total of 2014 patients), suggested that the ABCB1 C3435T might be helpful to predict the response to MTX in Asian patients (additive: OR = 1.64, 95% CI = 1.09–2.48, p = 0.019; homozygous model: OR = 2.54, 95% CI = 1.51–4.8, p < 0.001; and recessive model: OR = 2.09, 95% CI = 1.37–3.19, p = 0.001) but not the MTX-related ADRs [92].
