Furthermore, the presence of DRB1*04:01, *09:01 and *10:01 was increased in ACPA-positive RA patients compared with healthy controls [p < 0.0001, <0.001, and <0.01 and OR = 3.5 (2.05–5.97), 3.46 (2.01–5.96), and 4.11 (1.98–8.52), respectively], whereas the presence of DRB1*07:01 and *08:02 was associated with a decreased risk of ACPA-positive RA [p < 001, and <0.01 and 0.30 (0.18–0.52), and 0.09 (0.02–0.38), respectively]. Here, HLA-DRB1 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
