Laboratory tests should include a complete blood count (anemia, leukopenia, lymphopenia, thrombopenia), complete clinical-chemical parameters (kidney failure, myositis, hemolysis), urine tests (nephritic sediment), determination of CRP (infection), serum electrophoresis, respectively immunoglobulins (hypergammaglobulinemia, IgG-elevation) and parameters of plasmatic coagulation (prolonged PTT). Here, CRP is linked to anemia (phenotype).
