Here, we found that mRNA expression levels of PYGB were enhanced in tumor tissues such as HCC, prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), colon cancer (COAD), lung cancer (LUAD) and lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), consistent with the results reported by previous studies (Uno et al., 1998; Tashima et al., 2000; Lee et al., 2006; Zhou et al., 2013; Wang et al., 2018). Here, PYGB is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
