Table 4 shows the detected CDH1 and CTNNA1 germline variants, the number of family members included in this study (includes only PV carriers and predictively tested relatives who are carriers of the variant), the number of GC and BC cases in the pedigree as well as mean age of onset of manifest cancer. Out of the 62 patients with a PV or likely PV in the CDH1 or CTNNA1 genes 22 (35%) were men and 40 (65%) women. This evidence concerns the gene CTNNA1 and cancer.
