A majority (67–96%) [29,30,31,32] of cases are of an activated B-cell (ABC)/non-germinal center B-cell (non-GCB) subtype where the tumor cells are either (i) CD10-negative, Bcl-6-negative or (ii) CD10-negative, Bcl-6-positive, and MUM1-positive by immunohistochemistry using the Hans algorithm [33]. The gene discussed is BCL6; the disease is neoplasm.
