[152] reported that only asparagine-synthetase-positive cancer types need ASNase glutaminase activity, more recently the same author [153] showed that ASNase glutaminase activity is essential for long-lasting, single-agent anticancer in vivo activity against not only asparagine synthetase-positive, but also asparagine-synthetase-negative cancer types.
