The 10 most important signaling pathways enriched in highly expressed phenotypes of CCR2 were autoimmune disease, B cell receptor signaling pathway, cell adhesion molecules, chemokine signaling pathway, cytokine- cytokine interaction, hematopoietic cell lineage, Leishmania infection, NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, T cell signaling pathway, and Toll-like receptor signaling pathway (Figure 5A). This evidence concerns the gene CCR2 and autoimmune disease.
