Eleven of those follow an autosomal-dominant inheritance pattern and span a wide range of phenotypes, including three genes linked to various dental issues (AMTN, ENAM, DSPP) (Nakayama et al. 2015; Dong et al. 2000; Crosby et al. 1995) and APP known to cause Alzheimer disease when duplicated (Adler et al. 1991). This evidence concerns the gene DSPP and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
