In 2019, Zeng et al. [39] found that SET and MYND domain containing 2 (SMYD2)-mediated EZH2 di-methylation at lysine 307 (K307) enhances its stability, which can be demethylated by the histone H3K4 demethylase lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) in breast cancer. Here, SMYD2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
