PPARA and cancer: We found that these were enriched in a number of pathways including “molecular mechanisms of cancer” (p = 3.07 × 10–7), “AMPK signaling” (p = 3.01 × 10–5), PDGF signaling (p = 9.58 × 10–5), “PPARα/RXRα activation” (p = 1.6 × 10–4) and “p53 signaling” (p = 3.99 × 10–4) (Additional file 2: Figure S9, Figure S10A-D and Additional file 1: Table S7A).
