They tested the ability of these biomarkers to predict the progression of high-grade intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) to cancer: While no statistically significant differences in expression levels for any of the 3 proteins were seen between low- and high-grade IPMN, in line with our findings, LYVE1 showed a significant difference in distinguishing control samples from PDAC samples.
