As shown in Figure 5(a), the gender and expression levels of six obesity-related genes (GNPDA2, KCTD15, LEPR, SH2B, POMC, and MTCH2) could remarkably affect the survival probability of patients with 14 types of cancer (ACC, HNSC, KIRC, UVM, ESCA, SKCM, KIRP, CHOL, BRCA, PAAD, LIHC, THYM, SARC, and MESO). Here, KCTD15 is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
