Combined with the analysis of clinicopathological characteristics, it is found that the expression of lncRNA XIST is up-regulated in CRC cell lines and tissues, and the high expression of XIST is not only related to the tumor size, lymph node metastasis (TNM), distant metastasis and clinical stage of colorectal cancer, but also predicts shorter progression-free survival and overall survival in CRC patients. The gene discussed is XIST; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
