We tested gpps on ER + breast cancer data from [31], consisting of 40 somatic mutations over 47 cells with an estimated false negative rate of 9.73%, a false positive rate of 1.24×10−6 and a missing rate of 13.83% (based on the known error rates of the SCS technologies from which this data was obtained); on JAK2-Negative Myeloproliferative Neoplasm data from [32], consisting of 18 mutations over 58 cells, with an estimated false negative rate of 7.63%, a false positive rate of 2.02×10−5 and missing rate of 44.82%. The gene discussed is JAK2; the disease is breast cancer.
