A support vector machine (SVM) model based on the selected panel, which comprised FGA, KRT19, HIST1H2BK, ITIH2, MARCH2, CLDN1, MAL2, and TIMP1, was constructed for diagnostic prediction of PC and it was able to identify stage I/II patients with an AUC of 0.949 in a cohort of 284 PDAC patients, 100 CP patients, and 117 healthy subjects [94]. The gene discussed is CLDN1; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
