In the crude analysis, old age (≥ 65 years), male sex, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), eGFR < 60 mL/min/1.73 m2, low level of albumin, severe AKI, high levels of blood urea nitrogen, c-reactive protein, CK, and lactate dehydrogenase were associated with an increased risk for in-hospital mortality.
