BCL2 and neoplasm: Previous studies showed that a variety of kinase inhibitors, such as BTK inhibitors (ibrutinib), SYK inhibitors (R406), PI3K/mTOR dual inhibitors (NVP-BEZ235), PI3K inhibitors (idelalisib, copanlisib, ACP-319, and KA2237) or ATK inhibitors (MK-2206), and CDK9 inhibitor (dinaciclib) [86, 87], alone or in combination with venetoclax, significantly reduced the expression of anti-apoptotic proteins BCL2 tumor cells in vitro and then exerted synergistic killing effects on lymphoma cells.
